Braga QuadrosNo. 23

A hummingbird’s head and fanned wings fill the frame, its feathers built from layered strokes of violet, magenta, silver and lime. Loose, sweeping brushwork in green and icy blue surrounds the bird with a sense of rapid, shimmering motion.
